Product Description
The 1000MBase-LX SFP transceiver consists of three sections: a FP laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and MCU control unit. All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements.
The transceivers are compatible with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and SFF-8472. For further information, please refer to SFP MSA.

Works as intended, no issues and runs fairly coolConsidering and using it in 7/24 environment with constant data flow, had no issues with it. Works as it supposed to and doesn’t heat up too much. Coupe have been little cheaper.

Good addition to my network switch setupNeeded a transceiver that can go a good distance to another switch that I have in another building that is about 700 feet away. It was picked up by my Cisco switch and once I connected up the fiber it immediately started to sync and transfer data. So far it has worked without issues and continues to work this long distance and I am getting full 1gbps speed on the link between the two switches. Would recommend this without issues as it does work and I assure it can go farther is needed.
